For the third year running, our Apulian cellar San Giorgio is working alongside Jonian Dolphin Conservation, the organisation created by President Carmelo Fanizza to safeguard cetaceans in the Gulf of Taranto.
Two organisations from the Ionian territory with a single vision: to promote local excellencies while respecting environmental sustainability.
So the process initiated in 2020 continues to help the researchers who collect essential data and information to determine the condition of the dolphins in the Gulf of Taranto and therefore of the sea that is their home.
During the excursions of Catamarans Taras and Extraordinaria as part of the “Ricercatore per un giorno” (Researcher for a day) project, our cellar will offer a wine tasting session to “pamper” visitors on the lookout for cetaceans around the northern Ionian Sea.
It will be possible to enjoy a glass of Malvasia Bianca Bio while admiring the sea and the dolphins roaming freely – a unique experience combined with the thrill of feeling involved in the research phase alongside biologists, veterinarians and researchers.
The project also aims at promoting environmental awareness to safeguard the Ionian marine and coastal heritage – a topic that has always been at the centre of the Tinazzi group vision.
For this reason, the Tinazzi Bio range was chosen and especially Furese, a Malvasia Bianca Puglia IGP.
The Tinazzi Bio range is fully organic and is an expression of Tinazzi’s love of biodiversity. We have created labels linked to nature, with butterflies on the labels and a sustainable packaging characterized by Bordeaux bottles with a thin glass and Stelvin caps.
We will wait for you aboard the catamarans to enjoy this experience together.
