We are happy to announce that our cellar will attend the event to be held at Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona on 3-4 February 2024 with its most prestigious wines: historical label “Aureum Acinum” – Tenuta Valleselle, whose 2018 vintage was just awarded 90 points by Decanter, “La Bastia” – Ca’ de’ Rocchi from 2019, and A50 -Tinazzi Generation, Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva from 2018
Amarone Opera Prima, an event organized by Consorzio Vini Valpolicella and the most important of those dedicated to the territory’s king of wines, will lead the way to the events that, between now and April, will take cellars and operators to Vinitaly. Tinazzi will attend with some of its most awarded interpretations of Valpolicella, which can be enjoyed during the event.
We have mentioned Amarone “Aureum Acinum” from Tenuta Valleselle, whose 2019 vintage stands out thanks to its ruby red colour tending to pomegranate and its aroma of vanilla, raisins and exotic fruit. Its full, enveloping and soft palate will be available for tasting by the press.
The public will instead be able to enjoy “La Bastia”, part of the Ca’ de’ Rocchi 2019 range and boasting a complex nose and elegant palate characterized by an aroma with distinct balsamic notes as well as red fruits.
Amarone Classico Riserva A50 from 2018 will also be available for tasting on Saturday and Sunday. It is a wine that was personally chosen and signed by Gianandrea Tinazzi. The name of the wine is made up of his initial and birth year. It is a unique deep red wine that charms the senses with its rich and complex aroma. Made using the utmost care, it boasts notes of dark fruit, cherries in alcohol and a pinch of spices. This full-bodied Amarone is aged to perfection, so it develops elegant tannins and is pleasant to drink. A50 by Tinazzi is a true testimony to the art of wine-making, and provides a memorable experience to connoisseurs looking for excellence in every sip.
In brief, although both A50 and La Bastia are exemplary Amarone wines, they boast different flavours, aromas and hints, offering wine lovers unique experiences within the Tinazzi universe. It is well worth savouring both.
