  • Vineyards
    Vineyards in a hilly area at 150-300 metres above sea level in Valpolicella
  • Vinification
    Soft pressing with destemming and successive fermentation with maceration at 20/24 °C. Soft pressing. The resultant Valpolicella Superiore wine is repassed on the Amarone skins at the end of December
  • Maturation
    The wine matures in 5-20 hectolitre new French and American oak barrels for about 8/12 months
  • Colour
    Bright red
  • Aromas
    Fruity bouquet, in which plum and cherry stand out, enhanced by spicy hints and a light balsamic vein
  • Taste
    Strong flavour. Balanced, soft tannins. Good persistence
